Diploma & Certificate Graduates Get Wings to Fly
“Africa is in good hands with a vibrant youth,” Mr V. A Chikanda said. It was smiles all over the faces of the Diploma and Certificate Students as they reaped the reward of months of hard work and study. The Graduation ceremony was truly a momentous occasion. A number of representatives from supporting institutions, members of the Diplomatic Corps and International Organizations, friends and family were all in attendance at the Graduation Ceremony held on Friday 28 September 2018 at Rainbow Towers Hotel.
His Excellency Mohamed Mostafa Ahmed Fahmy, Ambassador of Egypt to Zimbabwe, who was the Guest of Honor encouraged the graduates to continue working hard and make a positive impact in their societies. Mr Chikanda, in his remarks, noted that the graduates had been empowered with the soft skills and attributes needed to be the generation of global leaders who can make Zimbabwe and Africa better; and this will be achieved by adapting ‘integrative diplomacy’ which many societies are using to change the lives of the people. Mr Chikanda also condemned the continued aggression by Israel on the State of Palestine and called upon the United Nations to do more to promote and uphold International peace and security.
